The photos are of me and the wall in the IM2 AIMD jet shop on the USS Ranger. I painted this when we were sitting off the coast of Kuwait during The first Gulf War. I had a good time on my float on Ranger. I was on A Med cruise first on the USS Eisenhower. That was fun but going on a west pac was better. The port visits and the men I served with are memories I still think about today. Not many 21 year olds get the chance to fix jet aircraft engines, see many foreign lands and make the friends that I did on the Ranger. I hope she gets a good home and will look forward to coming to see her when she gets there.
